Yarl Directory
Privacy notice
How A1 AI Agents, Inc. handles information in Yarl Directory.
Last reviewed: 2026-10-24. The directory is operated from Ontario, Canada.
Information you provide
Account details include your name, email address, a password hash and session records. Business owners provide profile content, contact details, photos, catalogues, services, staff schedules and business locations. Published business information is visible to directory visitors.
We store favourites and appointment requests you submit. The relevant business receives the request details needed to respond. Do not include medical history, symptoms, payment card details or other sensitive information in request notes.
Messages, claims and favorites
Messages and quote requests are private to the customer and the current business owner. We store conversation content, quote requirements and read status so participants can respond. Notification emails contain a link to sign in, rather than the message text. Ownership claims include your relationship to the business, supporting information and an administrator review record. Do not submit identity documents or sensitive personal information in claim notes.
Following preferences store the businesses you follow, your optional flyer/sale email choices and consent timestamps. You can stop alerts in Favorites & alerts or confirm unsubscribe through an email link. Account and enquiry notifications are separate from optional marketing alerts. Delivery records include recipient address, generic subject, link path and delivery status.
Optional Canva and Google translation
If you connect Canva, the directory stores encrypted authorization credentials to create, list and export designs you select. Imported PDFs are stored as private drafts until you publish. You can disconnect in the Canva flyer editor and manage the app’s permission in Canva. Selecting Translate with Google sends only the selected public business text to Google Cloud Translation. Private messages and account information are excluded. English originals remain available.
Yarlini, AI drafts and optional voice
When you ask Yarlini to draft a profile or interpret a directory search, the information you submit is processed by an AI model. AI model results may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Verify business details directly and review drafts before publishing. Saved business-setup answers and reviewed drafts are stored in your private setup record. Do not include secrets or sensitive personal information.
Business-name and meaning searches process your search phrase and public listing information using AI services. Search data is stored to improve matching and refreshed when public business information changes.
Recording starts only after you agree to audio processing and grant microphone permission. Recordings and displayed reply text are processed by AI services to transcribe speech or generate spoken replies. These services may retain audio in request records; Yarl does not save recordings in its application database. Transcripts and spoken replies may be wrong. Review transcripts before using them. You can type and read text instead.
Owner subscription checkout is handled by a payment service. Yarl stores subscription, consent, invoice-event and paid-through references; card details are entered with the payment service and are not stored by Yarl. These fees are separate from any payment to a listed business.
Location and address lookup
Nearest search asks your browser for location when you select it or ask Yarlini to find businesses near you. Coordinates are sent to calculate nearby results, held in the page’s memory and are not saved to your account. Your browser controls location permission. Precise coordinates are excluded from the AI model input. Hosting access and security logs may contain connection information.
An owner can explicitly look up a saved business address using the address lookup service. It receives the address, and the directory caches lookup results. The owner confirms the location before it is published. Manual location entry is also available.
Why information is used
We use information to operate accounts, publish approved listings, deliver requests, protect the service and answer support enquiries. Businesses handle the information they receive under their own responsibilities and privacy practices.
Service providers
Opening a business’s Contact us tab may load an embedded OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and normal browser connection information to display the map. Your precise browser location is not requested for this map.
The planned alpha hosting provider is Amazon Web Services, with SendGrid for account and activity email, with optional marketing alerts when enabled. Canva and Google Cloud Translation are optional connected providers. Providers may process information outside Canada depending on the deployment configuration. The operator must confirm regions, provider agreements and access controls before launch.
Cookies and protection
An essential session cookie keeps you signed in. Passwords are hashed, and sessions expire or can be revoked by signing out. The directory does not currently include advertising trackers. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and your choices
You can edit your profile information and remove favourites. Contact the operator to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to raise a privacy concern. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or resolving requests. The operator must approve retention periods and deletion procedures before public launch.
Privacy contact: [email protected]. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada provides information about privacy rights and complaints.
